An update from your local neighbourhood team

Dear Resident,

As part of their work towards their quarterly priorities, your local neighbourhood officers have been out and about in the area responding to your concerns.

Recently, they have:

Arrested a man in his 40s in Occupation Park for drugs offences. He has been charged and is due to appear in court next month.

Arrested a woman in her 30s on suspicion of drug driving, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence in Lincoln Road. She has been bailed whilst investigations continue.

Conducted five stop searches in the area

Carried out regular compliance checks on the closure orders in Lincoln Road and Gladstone Street.

Carried out joint patrols with parking enforcement in Alma Road, Waterloo Road, and Century Square.

Whilst out on patrols, they even ended up assisting the parking enforcement officers in Gladstone Street who had found a dog left in an abandoned car!

In between all of this work, they have been carrying out crime enquiries and general patrols of the area.
